Nocturne Apply
The right résumé for every job.
Give Nocturne Apply your résumé and the job listing. It rebuilds your experience around what the role actually asks for, and drafts a cover letter that still sounds like you — with your résumé never leaving your machine.

The trial installer is being packaged — it will be available right here at launch.
Tailored, not templated.
Drop in your résumé — PDF, Word or plain text, or just paste it — and put the job listing beside it, either as pasted text or as a link Apply fetches for you. Press once, and it reads both and builds a new version of your résumé for this role.
The posting is optional: without one, it simply makes your résumé read sharper. And you choose how far it goes — Full rewrite, aimed at the posting bullet by bullet; Polish, which rephrases only your weakest lines and leaves the rest untouched; or Layout only, which changes the look and not a single word.
Every listing asks for a slightly different person. It finds that person in your real experience and leads with what matters — the same true story, told in the order this hiring manager needs to hear it.
Your job search stays your business — it never leaves your machine.
Your résumé, re-led for the role — changes in gold.
Nothing gets invented.
The fastest way to lose an offer is a résumé claiming something you can't back up in the room. Every number, employer, title and tool in the rewrite is checked against your original — once as a rule the model has to follow, and again as an audit after the fact.
Inflated scope is caught the same way: a bullet can't graduate to "led" or "architected" unless your own résumé already said so. When a line can't be improved without inventing something, Apply keeps your wording and tells you it did.
Where your history is genuinely thin, it asks you for the missing number rather than making one up — and it flags weak openers, unquantified bullets, and achievements buried mid-paragraph.
Every bullet gets its own card in the What changed tab — rewritten, unchanged, or kept in your words with the reason — alongside audited alternative phrasings you can swap in with one click. And a coach reads the result the way a skeptical hiring manager would: the ten-second first impression, what you undersell and where the evidence sits, and what the posting asks for that your résumé doesn’t show — with the shape of a stronger bullet you complete in your own words. Where a number is missing, it asks you one pointed question rather than guessing.
The only new facts in your résumé are the ones you typed yourself.
Every claim traced back to a line you wrote.
You can see where you stand.
Alongside the résumé comes a match report: every requirement in the listing marked addressed, partly addressed, or missing — each with the line of your own résumé that proves it, and a plain list of what to do about the gaps.
Five curated résumé designs, plus tens of thousands of generated variations, led by the ones that suit the posting’s tone — technical, executive or creative. Every design carries a scanner rating that tells you whether an applicant-tracking system will read it cleanly, and why. Six accent colours. Switching design never changes a word.
Export to PDF, Word or Markdown, or copy the Markdown straight to your clipboard. The Word file is kept scanner-plain — one column, real bullets in the text flow, no tables, no text boxes — so an applicant-tracking system reads the same résumé you do. PDFs match the design you picked on screen, with real selectable text. Every file is also saved on your PC, and the app shows you where.
Scored on your machine, against a listing only you have seen.
Requirement by requirement, with the proof attached.
A cover letter that sounds like you.
Not "Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to express…" — a letter drawn from your actual résumé and the actual listing, in plain, confident language.
You review it, tweak a line or two, and send. Minutes, not evenings.
Want it to sound like you specifically? Paste a few sentences you actually wrote, and the letter borrows their rhythm and word choice — style only; names, employers and numbers from your sample never enter it. With Nocturne Speak installed, hold your dictation key and just talk about yourself.
Drafted on your machine. Read by no one until you decide.
A letter worth signing, drafted while you pour coffee.
Your search stays secret.
A job search is exactly the data you least want on someone else's server — visible to advertisers, data brokers, or an employer you haven't told yet.
Nocturne Apply keeps every draft, every listing, every version on your machine. The rewriting, the matching and the export all happen on your own processor — your résumé never crosses the network.
One honest exception, so you hear it from us: if you paste a link to a job posting, Apply fetches that page. That is a plain request for a public page you chose — it carries no résumé, no account and no identifier, and the job board learns only that someone looked. Paste the posting as text instead and Apply makes no outside request at all.
We never read your résumé. We couldn't if we wanted to — there is nowhere for it to go.
Every draft stays here until you send it yourself.
